Farmersville ISD posts STAAR gains

Farmersville ISD students posted significant gains in Algebra I and English I on this spring’s State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness end-of-course exams, according to results released by the Texas Education Agency.

The assessments measure student performance in Algebra I, English I, English II, Biology and U.S. History.

Districtwide, 90% of Farmersville ISD students met grade-level standards in Algebra I, up 6 percentage points from 2025. English I scores also improved 6 points to 84%, while English II rose 2 points to 85%. Biology dipped 1 point to 97%, and U.S. History remained unchanged at 97%.
