City officials are taking a closer look at what a balanced mix of residential, commercial and community uses should look like in future planned developments as the city prepares for continued growth.
The issue was discussed Monday, Aug. 31, during a joint workshop involving the Farmersville City Council, Planning and Zoning Commission and Farmersville Economic Development Corporation representatives.
The workshop focused on mixed-use development policies and how the city can encourage development that provides more than residential housing.
