The Farmersville City Council approved its fiscal year 2026-27 budget and several other items during a Sept. 8 special meeting.
The budget includes a proposed property tax rate of 72.5 cents per $100 valuation and a 3% raise for city employees. The tax rate will be considered separately at the council’s next meeting.
Council also approved the Farmersville Economic Development Corporation’s 2026-27 budget and agreements with Collin County for animal shelter and police and fire dispatch services.
