New council members, mayor ready to take office

Farmersville’s three new City Council members – a mayor and two councilmen – got elected to the six-member governing body the easy way. They all ran unop­posed, so the city canceled the election that had been set for this past Saturday.

However, Mayor-elect Bryan Weibold, Place 2 Councilman-elect Terry Williams and Place 4 Councilman-elect Mike Hen­ry will have their hands full im­mediately after they take their oaths of office on Tuesday.
