FHS marching season begins

Heading into a new school year, the Farmersville High School Marching Band hopes to get back to performing safe­ly and easily after a long period away from one another.

During a summer break headlined by the COVID-19 outbreak, the Farmersville band maintained social distanc­ing protocols, canceling sum­mer practice as they tried to adapt to coronavirus. Now with the fall semester about to start again, the band members hope to resume a sense of normalcy and try to get back in form for 2020, said Farmersville Band Director Scott Cross.
