For the second straight season the No. 7 state-ranked Lady Farmers made it to the third round.

They faced off Nov. 10 against Alba-Golden in the Class 3A Region II regional quarterfinals at Terrell.

“We will need another match like our previous one (Mt. Vernon) in order to defeat them,” head coach Harold Davis. “They are a quality team with good passing and attacking.”
