There were many positives that came out of last week, after finishing .500.
“We learned a lot about our team and gained some valuable experience after playing a senior led Pottsboro team and the Fruitvale tournament. We went 2-1 in the tournament with a chance to win it all. We made a few mistakes that I am glad we made now that cost us the game,” head coach Brian Wester said. “Coming out of the tournament we feel very confident. We are getting better and better each and everyday. We are very young in terms of varsity experience and all these previous games are good for us as we enter district Friday versus Tom Bean.”
Things started off a little rough with a 79-42 loss to visiting Pottsboro.
