At the close of this week the first half of District 13-3A season will be in the books.

The Lady Farmers (6-10 overall, 2-3 in district, as of Jan. 11) traveled Jan. 12 to Leonard and play host 6:30 p.m. Friday to Lone Oak.

“We have a good shot at winning both games to finish up the first round of district. If we win against Leonard, it will be a really big win and will help us out as far as district standings go,” head coach Veronica Valdez said. “Lone Oak will be a team that we do not need to let creep up on us. We need to make a statement with both games this week.”
