Here we go: Farmers open season with home tournament

One year ago, the season opening Farmersville Tournament was cancelled due to rain.

Mother nature cooperated this time around and the Farmers finished second with a record of 3-2.

“The tournament was great. We had great weather, good crowds and a lot of good teams,” head coach Jon Nordin said. “The atmosphere for the games on Saturday was really good.”
