Jason Luke fires a pitch to home plate against Commerce in a District 13-3A matchup. Farmersville won the contest 10-0 in six innings.

The No. 7 state-ranked Farmersville fell to second in District 13-3A, after splitting a pair of home games.

They run-ruled visiting Commerce 10-0 in five innings and fell 2-1 to Van Alstyne.

“The (Van Alstyne game) was what we thought it would be. Two frontline pitchers going at it and runs were hard to come by,” head coach Jon Nordin said.
