Frying up some funds and some fun is on tap for this Saturday as the annual Farmersville Volunteer Fire Department’s fish fry takes place.

This year’s fry, which will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at Farmersville High School, is raising funds for a very important cause – to help first responders with every day expenses associated with responding to emergencies.

“Over the years the support has been great,” Fire Chief Kim Morris said. “We’re hoping for the best fish fry ever.”
