FHS holds own against state’s best

AUSTIN – Farmersville competed against the best in the state in the Class 3A meet at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

The Lady Farmers finished in five-way tie for 33rd place with six points.

In the top three were Sunnyvale (42 points), Altair Rice (38.75) and Wall (38). District 13-3A opponent Leonard took fifth with 28 points, after winning it all last season.

Chloe Wall led the way for the girls with a third place showing in the pole vault.
