October presents many opportunities for fun and community support in Farmersville and this weekend begins a series of events over the next few weeks.

On Saturday, Oct. 15, the Rike Library is inviting community members to come out to the ‘Little Grand Opening’ for the library’s little free library at 2:15 p.m. in downtown Farmersville near the gazebo.

The Little Free Library’s mission is to promote literacy and the love of reading by building free book exchanges worldwide; and to build a sense of community as we share skills, creativity and wisdom across generations.
