Early voting for the presidential election along with other statewide and county elections will begin Monday, Oct. 24.

Early voting for the presidential election along with other statewide and county elections will begin Monday, Oct. 24.

After a heated and long-awaited journey, voters get to start heading to the polls Monday, Oct. 24 for early balloting in the 2016 Presidential Election that will be held Nov. 8 across the country.

Although the Presidential Election is the premier attraction, there are a number of other challenged races.

Early ballots may be cast at any Collin County voting location designated for early voting, starting Oct. 24 and running through Nov. 4. Early voting times are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 24-28, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 29 and Oct. 31-Nov. 4, and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 30.
