The Grinch taunts the crowd as he rides a float in last year’s Christmas Parade. This year’s parade will be in downtown Farmersville at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10. Participants can sign up with the Farmersville Chamber of Commerce online at www.farmersvillechamber.com or by calling 972-782-6533.

With Christmas quickly approaching, a multitude of holiday events are on tap for the Farmersville and Princeton area along with the rest of Collin County.

Farmersville will be hosting several events Saturday, Dec. 10.

Photos with Santa will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Jordan’s Barbecue, located at 115 S. Main St.

The Bain-Honaker House will host a collection of Santa Claus figurines along with a Victorian Country Christmas display and bake sale from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The house, located at 108 College St., will be open for tours.

The annual Christmas Parade of Lights will be held in downtown Farmersville at 7 p.m. The window decorating contest winners will be announced at the parade.
