A family of six lost their home and all of their belongings after a house fire Sunday, Dec. 18.
In freezing temperatures, more than 30 firefighters banded together to attempt to save a two-story wooden frame home on North Warren Street in Nevada. However, attempts to save the home were not successful.
Nevada, Josephine, Wylie, Farmersville and Royse City Fire Departments arrived on scene shortly after 7 p.m. to find the home fully engulfed in flames.
