Top honors: Yellin earns District 10-3A superlative for 2017 season

Farmersville softball earned its fair share of District 10-3A honors for the 2017 season.

Callie Yellin led the charge as the Defensive Most Valuable Player.

First team honors went to Anna Nibbelin in the outfield, with pitcher Natalie Segovia and infielder Christa Lannon making the second group.

Baylee Baxter, Haley Lewis and Keely Valliant were picked honorable mentions.

Selected academic all-district were Nibbelin, Segovia, Baxter, Lewis, Yellin, Valliant, Maddy Pickett, JoLeigh Hernandez and Elizabeth Johnson.
