Looking ahead to 2017: Farmers open non-district play at 3A Cooper

Farmersville’s 2017 football slate was recently released.

They will face the same teams as last season, in predistrict and district, but the locations will change.

They start things off with a pair of scrimmages versus Lone Oak (6 p.m. Aug. 18) and at Lone Oak (7 p.m. Aug. 24).

Games begin to count 7:30 p.m. Sept. 1 on the road against Cooper in non-district.

That contest is followed by with Community (Sept. 8), at Emory Rains (Sept. 15) and home with Caddo Mills (Sept. 22).
