Looking ahead: Lady Farmers to face challenges during 2017

Farmersville volleyball will square off against some old and new opponents in the 2017 season.

They kick things off with a pair of scrimmages at Melissa (Aug. 4) and Royse City (Aug. 5).

Non-district competition gets underway 6 p.m. Aug. 8 with Celina.

Followed by at Caddo Mills (6 p.m. Aug. 15), Dallas Skyline (3:30 p.m. Aug. 22 versus Skyline and Woodrow Wilson), Callisburg (4:30 p.m. Aug. 25) and Melissa (6 p.m. Aug. 29), with cross-lake rival Princeton (4:30 p.m. Sept. 1), and at Sunnyvale (6 p.m. Sept. 5).

The Lady Farmers will also compete in tournaments at Princeton (Aug. 11-12), North Hopkins (Aug. 17-19) and Commerce-Cumby (Aug. 31 and Sept. 1).
