Hometown bakery makes its way to Farmersville

A new smell is in the air within the community and its one of cookies, baked goods and kolaches.

Hometown Bake Shop and Eatery recently opened on Hwy. 78 across from the Farmersville High School.

Owned by Ronda and Marvin Owens, the new bakery is home to all kinds of bakery confections including cookies, kolaches and Texas’ best cinnamon rolls.

“We do feel like we have Texas’ best cinnamon rolls,” Ronda said.
