The Lady Farmers’ chances of making the playoffs are still alive after the start of the second round.

As of Monday, Jan. 22, they were 8-13 overall and 3-5 for fifth in District 10-3A.

Above them were state-ranked Leonard 7-0, Howe 6-2, Whitewright 5-2 and Van Alstyne 5-3.

Farmersville began the second round with a 57-35 win over Lone Oak and 49-42 defeat at Whitewright.
