The final scores from last week’s District 10-3A games don’t tell the entire story.

Down players due to injuries and illness the Farmers remained competitive in a pair of loses.

They were defeated by host Howe 80-47 and visiting Leonard 41-32.

“They were competitive games and our team played really hard,” FHS head coach Brian Wester said. “Unfortunately, we are dealing with illnesses and injuries and we just were not able to overcome the absence of those starters.”
