Four candidates have filed for the mayoral, city council election for the city of Farmersville.
Incumbent Mayor Diane Piwko has put her hat in the ring to run for a second term. She is an independent business owner and currently a retailer in downtown Farmersville.
Piwko was previously a test engineer with Texas Instruments / Raytheon and led five to 10 member teams in designing and maintaining test equipment labs, field service support, managing multi-million dollar budgets and was responsible for milestone tracking.
