Prescribing success: Local pharmacist celebrates 60 years of service

For 60 years, Frances Dyer Hickman has being following her calling to be a pharmacist.

“I do what I love and love what I do,” the 82-year-old local pharmacist said.

Dyer Drug Store, located at 133 McKinney Street in downtown Farmersville, is well known for its customer service and its love of Farmersville and its residents.

“It’s a privilege to serve the people I know and love,” Hickman said. “I never meet the same challenge twice.”
