Egg hunt this weekend at VFW; church services held

Several Easter activities will commence in Farmersville and the surrounding area this weekend.

The annual VFW Post Easter Egg hunt will occur at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31 behind the post located at 671 W. Audie Murphy Pkwy.

There will be three hunts, divided by area including birth to 3- years-old, 4- to 10-years old and 10 and above.

Each age group will have a prize egg and be eligible to win an Easter basket full of goodies.

There will also be lunch provided including hot dogs, chips and drinks.

First United Methodist Church will also host a free community-wide Easter Egg hunt held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 31.
