A zoning change occurred after the Tuesday, April 12 city council meeting to a piece of property on Sycamore Street.
The property, owned by George Crump, was changed from Single-Family 1 to a Planned Development. Crump, according to information provided at city council will utilize the structure located at 311 Sycamore St. for an office space.
Due to a conflict of interest, both Councilmembers Todd Rolen and Michael Hesse excused themselves from council chambers during the discussion and the vote.
The building, which was previously a daycare center, contains 2,640 square feet in the main area.
