FD graduates first-ever EMS class

After more than a year, the Farmersville FD EMS Academy has graduated its first-ever class.

The graduation, which was held Friday, April 27 at the Civic Center, commemorated the hard work of four students who were able to walk across the stage as certified EMTs and proceed to take their National Registry Exams.

Graduating in the class were Angie Rios, Andrew Sutherland and James Vaughn with the Farmersville Fire Department and Dereck Hall with the Westminster Fire Department.
