Breaking news: Farmersville first responders deal with wrecks, fires today

If residents have heard a lot of sirens today it’s due to multiple wrecks and a rekindling of a fire that occurred off CR 610 yesterday.

The fire rekindled around 9:30 p.m. Monday, July 23, 1:23 p.m. and 4:59 p.m. Tuesday, July 24.

Around 5 p.m. today there was a wreck on Hwy. 78 and CR 557 with two vehicles involved. Injuries are currently unknown.

There was also a single-vehicle wreck at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, July 24 at Baker Lane and Hwy. 78 that may have been heat related. It is unknown if injuries resulted from the accident.
