The Farmersville Independent School District School Board approved a total budget of $18.1 million for fiscal year 2018-’19, which is $632,167 more than last year.
Board members met in regular session Monday, Aug. 27 to approve the budget after holding a public hearing earlier that evening.
The budget is based on a 12.66 percent growth in taxable property values.
Sources of revenue for the 2018-’19 year are $8.7 million in property taxes, $6.9 million in state funding and $148,800 in federal revenue.
