Quarterfinal bound: Farmersville faces North Lamar in third round

Farmersville found themselves in the third round of the volleyball playoffs for the first time since 2015.

The No. 4 state ranked Lady Farmers faced Paris North Lamar on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at Sulphur Springs High School.

“They are a very good team that has a good defense and offense, so we will need to play our best,” FHS head coach Harold Davis said.

Farmersville came into the Class 4A Region II quarterfinals match 33-7.

They started the postseason with a 25-18, 25-23, 25-22 win over Canton in bi-district on Monday, Oct. 29 at Forney High School.
