Concrete batch plant gets its first step

by | Nov 21, 2018 | Latest

Farmersville may soon be getting a concrete batch plant in its industrial area thanks to a potential development agreement approved by the city council.

At the Tuesday, Nov. 13 city council meeting, the board unanimously approved giving the mayor the ability to sign off on the development agreement between Listocon, who does business as Reliable Ready Mix Concrete, once the business signs the agreement with no changes being made.

The agreement states the plant will be operated on 5 acres, out of the 31 acres, that is located in the city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction along CR 699 and Hwy. 380.
