Toddler suffered trauma before death

More details have become available in the death of 1-year-old Mailee Bautista of Farmersville, who died Nov. 6.

Emergency personnel were called to the scene for a toddler not breathing and though CPR was performed, she was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

In the arrest affidavit for Adrian Bautista, 22, the toddler suffered blunt-force trauma to her head, had six displaced rib fractures in the back, not from CPR, and four tongue lacerations according to the Medical Examiner.
