A love of flowers and gifts is blooming in downtown Farmersville as both Carrie’s Floral Creation and The Hay Loft showcase blossoming blooms.

Owners of Carrie’s Floral Creation, Carrie and Brent Varvil, get to celebrate Valentine’s Day in their own special way each year. As husband and wife and floral designers, they spend the day arranging flowers to make sure customers get just what they are looking for.

After Brent retired from being a grocery manager at Tom Thumb, he became Carrie’s sidekick for the floral business.

“It’s made our family stronger and our business stronger,” Carrie said. “I’ve been a florist for 32 years and it’s great that I get to work with my best friend.”
