Swept away: Lady Farmers win in two games

SUNNYVALE – Farmersville softball got out the brooms.

They swept Brownsboro 8-4 and 9-0 in Class 4A Region II bi-district at Sunnyvale.

In the opener, the Lady Farmers (18-7 overall as of Monday, April 29) scored five runs in the first, and one in the second, third and fifth on six hits and four errors.

Callie Yellin had two walks, Kate Ingram worked a walk, Haley Lewis drove in two runs and Kaylea Bridges had an RBI.
