Blue Ridge: State tourney next

COLLEGE STATION – Blue Ridge is headed back to the state tennis tournament.

The tournament is slated for May 16-17 at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center and the Omar Smith Intramural Tennis Center in College Station.

The boys doubles team of Nolan Henderson and Jared Stroman is back for a second straight appearance.

One season ago in Class 2A, the Tigers fell 6-3, 6-4 to Dustin Hughey and Kaison Kirkland from Panhandle in the first round.
