Right, wrong or indifferent: 380 talks continue

by | May 23, 2019 | Latest

Talks continue about expansion and bypass routes for McKinney, Princeton and Farmersville in regard to Hwy. 380. (File photo)

The Highway 380 bypass was once again the topic of conversation at a recent city council meeting as several citizens voiced opinions.

An agenda item listed whether council should call a public hearing to discuss TxDOT’s recent bypass proposal for Hwy. 380.

The voice from the citizens that spoke was a unanimous “No!” about council calling a public hearing, many stating TxDOT got the decision right.

TxDOT’s latest decision regarding the highway in Farmersville is to make a bypass loop to the south instead of expanding the road on its current footprint.
