PRINCETON – The Lady Farmers came into last week two wins away from the fifth round of the playoffs.
They came up just short in a 2-1 best-of-three Class 4A Region II softball semifinals loss to Anna.
Anna took the opener 11-6 and finale 11-2 at Princeton High School.
“Getting to the fourth round was a true testament to the hard work and dedication these girls put in,” FHS head coach Paula Wilfong said. “In this series, they (Anna) were the better team, but I am still beaming with pride.”
