The ultimate goal for every college athlete is to improve in the offseason.
Farmersville graduate Chase Hacker is doing just that in collegiate summer league baseball.
He’s playing for the summer with the Kokomo Jackrabbits of the Northwoods League. The University of Texas at San Antonio baseballer said playing in the summer has helped him develop into a better player.
“It has really helped me develop into the player I want to be, because of how many games we play. Playing every day, if you go 0-for-5, there is another game the next day,” Hacker said.
