Masons present scholarship funds

Members of the Farmersville Masonic Lodge No. 214 recently honored several Farmersville students at a special scholarship recognition ceremony.

The ceremony was held Tuesday, July 16 as students, parents and special guests were welcomed into the lodge for dinner and the scholarship presentation.

“I think you will see tonight from the special guests we have how important this lodge thinks that education is,” Mason Craig Overstreet said.

Recipients included Farmersville High School students Reid Brown, Robert E. Jones Jr. and Danielle Young, Bland High School senior Michael Cook III and Frisco High School senior Pierce James.
