Accidents, crime rise; service demand continues to grow

The Farmersville Police Department reported a significant reduction in all calls received in 2021 from the previous year, but an increase in the top two categories of criminal acts, according to statistics released by Police Chief Mike Sullivan.

Meanwhile, stats released by the Farmersville Fire Department reported an increase across the board in virtually all major emergency categories from 2020 to 2021.
