Collin County residents planning to vote in the May 4 election need to register by Thursday, April 4.

In Place 3, candidate Jim Hemby, who previously served on Farmersville Independent School District Board of Trustees, is running unopposed and seeking election.

For school board places, Tommy Monk and David Ketcher are running for Place 5, an open seat previously held by Glenn McClain.

In Place 6, Brian Brazil is seeking election for a seat previously held by Kenneth Roose who is not seeking reelection.

Jason McTee is running for Place 7, a seat previously held by incumbent Jeff Hurst who is not running again.
