Fun of all kinds is right around the corner as citizens and organizers alike gear up for the annual Old Time Saturday event.

This year marks the 35th year for the event, which is slated for Saturday, Oct. 3. The event proceeds go to benefit the Centennial committee, a nonprofit that aids the library, Senior Citizen’s Center and the Civic Center.

The day’s activities will begin with the annual Audie Murphy Hero Run, which will start at 7:30 a.m. and last until 9:30 a.m.
