Fall is here and the décor of choice, pumpkins, will soon be appearing on doorsteps throughout neighborhoods. Searching for that perfect orange (most often) fruit for decorating or carving can be a fun experience especially if you have children. If you want your excursion to be memorable, and not at your local grocery or home improvement store, we’ve comprised a list of pumpkin patches near and far.

Sally’s Pumpkin Patch

Sally’s Pumpkin Patch located on Hwy. 380 in Princeton is now open with their first round of pumpkins though they anticipate getting even more the first weekend in October. They are open seven days a week 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The family-friendly farm stand has been in operation for 23 years and is owned by Sally and Manuel Morales.

“Our most popular pumpkins are definitely the flat varieties such as the Cinderellas,” Sally said. “The white pumpkins are also incredibly popular.”
