First day of school set for Sept. 8

Farmersville ISD students will have four extra weeks of summer vacation.

The Board of Trustees met Monday, July 27 – social dis­tanced throughout the FHS caf­eteria – to revise the 2020-21 calendar.

Classes will start Tuesday, Sept. 8 for students, and teach­ers will go back Monday, Aug. 24 to begin preparations. Fami­lies will have the option to choose either in-person or re­mote learning.
