Family honors Blackland Prairie acreage

A Farmersville family is on a mission to continue a legacy started by the family patriarch to preserve a rare piece of property.

The property, now known as Indigo Hills Prairie and Wildflower Preserve, consists of 49 acres of Texas Blackland Prairie that abuts Southlake Park.
