Fire service to unincorporated areas lacks financial support

by | Jan 9, 2025 | Uncategorized

The first Farmersville City Council meeting of the new year drew a large audience, including many residents from outside the city limits who are served by the city’s fire department.

During public forum, several community members expressed concerns about the possibility of the city discontinuing fire and EMT services to unincorporated areas. These concerns were later addressed in a presentation by Fire Chief Greg Massey.

Massey emphasized that he hopes services can continue as he does not want residents to lack for services.
