Officials with IOOF Cemetery in Farmersville are seeking the public’s help after vandals damaged cemetery property Tuesday, June 9.

According to IOOF Cemetery board member and Wreaths Across America co-chair Billie Goldstein, three large headstones were knocked over, additional stones were disturbed and a stage on the cemetery grounds was damaged. Repair costs for the stage are anticipated to exceed $2,000.

A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.

Goldstein said cemetery officials have developed a lead in the case but are continuing to seek information from the public.
