Campus improvements to take place this summer

School campuses throughout FISD will have improvements completed over the summer. (Courtesy photo)

Construction on Farmersville Intermediate School and Farmersville High School will begin the first week of June, with a total of 54 air conditioning units being replaced.

The school board met Monday, May 21 to discuss the installation process. The current AC units will be disconnected by Thursday, May 31, and the new units will be delivered Monday, June 4 in front of the intermediate school. Helicopter removal of the current units will start Wednesday, June 6, if weather permits.
