With summer break upon us, Farmersville ISD will offer multiple camps over the next several months.

 

Strength and conditioning

The boys program is slated for six weeks at the high school field house.

The schedule is as follows: 4-5:30 p.m. June 2-4, 4-5:30 p.m. June 8-9, 10-11:30 a.m. June 10-11, 10-11:30 a.m. June 15-18, 10-11:30 a.m. June 22-25, 10-11:30 a.m. June 29-July 2, 10-11:30 a.m. July 13-16.

The girls program is scheduled for five weeks at the high school gym and weight room.

Dates are as follows: June 3, 4, 8 and 9 at 3:30-5 p.m., June 10-11 at 8-10 a.m., June 15-18 at 7:30-9 p.m., June 22-25 at 8-10 a.m. and June 29-July 2 at 7:30-9 a.m.

Baseball

The camp is scheduled for 8:15-10 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. June 11-13 at the high school field.

The first session is open to incoming first through fourth graders, and second is for incoming fifth through ninth graders.

Cost for participation is $40 for early registration and $45 on the first day of the camp.

Discounts for siblings of two is $60 and three is $80.

Basketball

The combined boys and girls camp is slated for 9 a.m. to noon at the high school, junior high and intermediate school gyms.

Cost for participation is $40 per participant and $25 for each additional.

Cost for Farmersville ISD employees is $25 per participant.

Instruction will be provided by girls head coach Christopher Lowry, boys head coach Brian Wester, former Farmersville girls and boys basketball players and the FISD coaching staff.

Football

The camp is slated for 8:30-11 a.m. July 30 at the high school field.

The camp is open to incoming first through ninth graders.

Cost is $20 per participant or a maximum of $30 per family. Scholarships are available upon request.

Volleyball

The camp is scheduled for June 15-18 at the high school and junior high gyms.

The first session is 9-11 a.m. for incoming fourth through sixth graders at the junior high school.

The second is 9-11:30 a.m. at the high school for incoming seventh through ninth graders.

Providing instruction will be head coach Davis, Sunshine Davis, Veronica Valdez and ex-FHS players.

Cost for participation is $50 for the first camper, $25 per camper after that and $25 for children of FISD employees.
