Mary Alice Smith

Mary Alice Smith, age 72, of Blue Ridge, passed away July 27, 2015. She was born on Feb. 15, 1943, in Mo., to Claude Ernest and Gladys (Davis) Allen. On June 23, 1960, Mary married Donald Ray Smith in Farmers Branch. She was a member of Farmersville Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son, Casey Smith and his wife, Shelli of Leonard; grandchildren, Hannah Smith of Leonard; and Allie Smith of Blue Ridge; great-grandchildren, Abbie Grace Smith, So- phie Smith, Traceson Smith and Traxton Smith; siblings, Jerry D. Allen and his wife, Andrea of Biggers, Ark.; Nina McKeen and her husband, Arthur of Hillsboro, Mo.; Sam Allen of Nashville, Tenn.; Mike Allen of Yantis; Betty Jenkins of Yantis; Brenda Gore of Globe, Ariz.; and Linda Bilberry of Globe, Ariz.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Don Smith and sib- lings, Rusty Allen, Bob Allen and Jean Graham.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen. Interment will fol- low at Blue Ridge Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home for a visitation from 5 until 7 p.m., Wednesday eve- ning, as well as Thursday at 12:30 p.m., prior to the service.
